Dissolution of Marriage, Legal Separation & Annulment

Persons ending their relationship commonly feel fear and anxiety.  Experienced counsel can ease that tension with knowledge and compassion. Mr. Lepak is a certified family law specialist who has been providing genuine care and attentive legal services for over 30 years.  He is readily available and endeavors to instill confidence and security for his clients during their time of need.

Paternity Actions

Nowadays, it is not uncommon for people to have children out of wedlock.  Still, those couples have the same issues married couples do when it comes to raising children.  In the event of disagreements regarding custody and/or support, Mr. Lepak is able to assist either mothers or fathers who are unable to resolve their differences absent professional input.

Domestic Violence & Restraining Orders

Too often, disagreements are not handled appropriately, or someone is unable to control their affections or concerns for the other.  We provide services to those who have been harmed and damaged by violence or inappropriate behavior, as well as defend those wrongfully or overly prosecuted.

Custody

Dividing custody is often promptly resolved. Other times, parties require Court intervention to settle matters. We will do our best to work toward resolution, but are willing to vigorously fight to achieve a custody result that is best for you and your loved ones.

Legal Consulting & Limited Scope Representation

Sometimes a party merely wants general legal advice on how the process works, or needs guidance on just one or a few particular issues.  Perhaps behind the scenes consulting is requested, as a party handles a given matter. Maybe an attorney is only needed to argue at the time of hearing, or to provide counsel on the day of a mediation. Our firm is willing to provide selective services, specifically tailored to your needs.

Prenuptial Agreements

During this joyous time of a couple’s merging, it’s wise to set ground rules for the celebrants in the event their partnership fails.  Mr. Lepak has drafted many binding agreements that take into consideration all of the details as to how parties are to proceed forward in the event they choose to separate and move their relationship in a different direction.

Postmarital Agreements

After the commencement of a marriage, parties sometimes come to a later understanding regarding a division of their assets and debts or in connection with support issues.  We help parties work through their fiduciary duty to one another in carefully crafting any agreement they want to reach.

Support

The legislature has mandated obligations of support for spouses and their children. The Court has discretion in implementing those laws. You need experienced counsel who can best persuade the Court to set an appropriate amount of support for a reasonable duration.
